Work from Conference [人事5-CSR･健康経営・人事部・労務]
The agenda of the conference that I receive from the invitation like "How to build a strong team in this complex world?" from various institues always attracts me.
However, it is difficult to get a good insight about that theme in the most of the case. Some of the speeches or panel discussions are really boring.The panelists do often not reply the right answer for the question from the audience.
So I stop to listen and do "work form conference" blaming myself saying "why did I choose to attend this conference?".
Actually I'm writing this article in the conference ballroom.
But some key words like "diversity,glbalization, digital world and Gene-Y" stimulate my brain to think about that subject. This also encourages my work from conference.
Now I can figure out what is the real role of the conference like HR summit or management conference. This plays a "catalysit". I shouldn't try to get the answer or the solution. The conference gives me a time to think about the particular subject which I have chosen.
If the contents of the speech or panel discussion are very useful or eye-opening, your knowledge of that topic in the conference is very little. You should read more books about this topics before you spend a lot of money to attend.
So if you want to think about something by yourself, please go to the conference so that you can spend a fruitful time.
