●Find natural mentors

    Natural mentors have a special relationship with you and are interested in your success and your future. At work, don't limit yourself to formal mentoring programs, which can be very helpful but may not be immediately available. Try to find people who are not in your direct chain of command,such as a leader you admire or a trusted peer.This will help you have more open, relaxed, and fruitful discussions about yourself and your aspirations. Natural mentors can be a very important source for candid or critical feedback others may not give you.

●Get out of your comfort zone

  Many busy people rely too much on solutions from their own history. They rely on what has happened to them in the past. Using this limited lens, they are quick to see sameness in problems that isn't necessarily there. Beware of "I have always..."or"Usually I..."Always pause,consider alternatives, and ask yourself,is this really like the problem I have solved in the past? Or, conversely, how is this different from past problems?

●People who overuse their People Agility may...

   Spend too much time building networks at the expense of getting things done.  Be perceived as too political and ambitious. Show different faces to different people, causing some people to be confused and others to not trust them. Rely too heavily on relationships and hesitate being firm for fear of damaging those relationships. Shift situationally so easily that they leave the impression of being wishy-washy.
