When I run, I often get some new idea.
According to Dr Kisou Kubota - Kyoto University, running stimulates a brain ,specially prefrontal lobe. The frontal lobe contains most of the dopamine-sensitive neurons in the cerebral cortex. The dopamine system is associated with reward, attention, short-term memory tasks, planning, and drive.

Running can make you brainier according to a new study in Japan. Researchers monitored seven people who ran for 30 minutes three times a week over a period of 3 months. The group took complex memory tests before and after. All the runners did much better on the tests after the exercise, although their mental performance dropped off after they stopped training. Dr Kisou Kubota says, 'This suggests that ongoing exercise is required to maintain the benefit.' It's thought that running helps by encouraging a healthy flow of blood and oxygen. Scientists hope the findings could one day help cure memory problems.
